I’ve wanted to make a disappearing four patch for a while, but just haven’t done it yet…I had a few shaded four patch blocks, so I thought it could be interesting to cut them up.

Just your everyday blocks. I cut them 1.25″ from the centre, top to bottom, vertically and horizontally.

I fiddled around with them and this was the result -it’s cute, but the pieces are tiny, the smaller bits will be three quarters of an inch.

Anyway, I finished it off and it’s a fun little thing, which I will never make again.

It made a 7.5″ – 7″ finished block.
