A troublesome block.

There is a block in one of the sampler quilts that I have been trying to figure out; I made it years ago, but don’t remember how.

It’s this one; the block on the corners.

This is the answer, but there must be a simpler way to do it rather than little pieces and a lot of bias – I just can’t remember, well, it works anyway.

The tiny sample worked out, the second didn’t and the third (middle) did work.

That’s it, problem solved, it would be interesting to use this block again – with all the different blocks I’ve been working on lately, there must be enough for a good-sized sampler quilt.

That’s today’s rave.
Thanks for reading.
Regards,
