I did some work on the messy block, and it has worked out well.

Still love the colours, ‘earth’ colours are great.

A few variations: That’s the interesting thing about blocks, they may be shuffled around to make a variety of patterns.

I’ve been working on good old shaded four patch, not so popular these days, probably because there’s a lot of fiddling around, but the result is worth the fuss.
