A simple block, but interesting.

The only thing different than normal sewing is that it’s all done on the bias.
Oh dear, there are at least two points missed – I have trouble sewing with dark colours, this will be a humility block.

When working on this, I used a gadget that’s been hanging around this room for a long time, but never used. It’s used to cut off the dreaded dogears.

It is; Marti Mitchell’s Perfect Patchwork Corner Trimmer.

It did help, it was easier to line the pieces up for sewing, a bit fiddly to cut off the corners, but much easier when sewing.
